Higuera Ranch Barn Wedding
Michaela and Cameron’s Higuera Ranch Barn Wedding day was so fun and beautiful. I first met Michaela and Cameron for their engagement session at Higuera Ranch months back before their wedding. They were really fun to hang out with and full of love for each other. Their wedding day was no different, only more so with their families and friends. Michaela and Cameron’s Proposal Story:
“Cam and I started dating in law school in Ithaca, New York. We have since lived in many different places and done long distance on and off throughout our relationship (from Ithaca to Cape Town, South Africa, to Boston to San Francisco and now San Diego). This past year Cam was living in San Francisco and I in San Diego. Cam recently got a job in San Diego and to celebrate his move made me dinner incorporating an element from all the places we’ve lived (e.g. wine from a winery we visited in South Africa, oysters from our first date and the same entree from the first time I ever cooked for him). After dinner Cam surprised me with a photo album that had photos from all the big moments in our relationship, with the idea being that we would fill the rest in together. The last completed page had a photo of the ring and Cam down on one knee. Of course, I didn’t realize there were photos in the album so I accidentally opened straight to the last page. Cam jumped up and quickly got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After I stammered “what” 15 times, I said yes! I knew my best friends were visiting and had rented a house on Mission Bay that weekend, but I had no idea they were in on it and that we would be spending the rest of the weekend celebrating our engagement.”
